Cabin Fever

We have been home all month. The kids have missed 16 days of school and counting. I know that alot of people are used to ALOT of snow, after all it is winter time right? Well I haven't seen a winter like this since I was a child. I'm longing for a winter like last winter. A couple of cold snaps and just enough snow to get everyone a little break from school. I don't like to complain, but cabin fever is really setting in. It snows and snows and snows, then you get a break of a day or so, get your hopes up and the next system rolls in.
Alex is handeling it well, he is used to being home now, he will occasionally ask where all the "kids" are.

This weather is wreaking havoc on me, I have gained ten pounds in like a month. Weight has always been something that I struggle with! I try all of the things that use to work for me and nothing works, I can't lose a pound. It seems like my metabolism has shut down since the birth of my triplets.  I don't know what to do short of not eating at all. I guess I'm going to have to quit buying so much junk at the grocery store. I know it isn't healthy for any of us but when your child goes two days without eating then you will give him anything, even if it is a bowl of cheesies!

Well guess I'll quit rambling, there isn't much to report. The school has agreed to evaluate Alex once more, though their observations will find him medicated, therefore well behaved, so the findings will probably be the same....
